400Hz and 28Vdc Connectors

New in the portfolio: 400Hz/ 28Vdc connectors for ground power units.
The well-known manufacturer LPA has presented an interesting alternative with the new P connector series:

Fully waterproof connectors (IP66/IP67 certified)
Without the use of resins, this means quick assembly and less weight for the user.
New materials are highly wear-resistant and robust
Components can be replaced individually when they are worn, making repairs quick and inexpensive.

LPA offers you the following variants of connectors:

Type P400
Simple, inexpensive 400Hz connector
Type PD400
400Hz plug with changeable pins and front part. Available with 90% insertion tube on request.
Type PDS400
400Hz connector with exchangeable pins and front part as well as LED and switch integrated. Available with 90% insertion tube on request.
Type M3
28Vdc plug, simple and cheap. Not waterproof.

400Hz Connector - P400 400Hz Connector - PD400 400Hz Connector - PDS400 28Vdc - Type M3 Junction Sleeve PJS400

The P400 connector comes with fixed electrical contacts, providing a cost effective solution. This connector is used on mobile ground power units (GPUs).

It accepts a variety of 400Hz composite and single core cables.

The plug contacts and the front part of the plug cannot be exchanged on this model.

The PD400 connector comes with a removable front piece and spare front contacts. This connector is used on mobile ground power units (GPUs).

It accepts a variety of 400Hz composite and single core cables.

The removable power/control contacts and contact insulator (nose) are easy to service and replace.

Optionally, this plug can be equipped with a 90% insertion tube.

The PDS400 connector is configurable according to customer requirements. Front piece and contacts can be exchanged. This connector is mainly used on fixed systems (GPUs).

Configurable switches and LEDs to control and indicate plug usage.

It accepts a variety of 400Hz composite and single core cables.

The removable power/control contacts and contact insulator (nose) are easy to service and replace. Likewise the buttons and LEDs.

The (replaceable) microswitch inside the “F” contact provides a signal once the plug is 90% inserted into the mating socket (optional feature).

Optional temperature sensors attached to pins A, B and C can prevent overheating if properly connected to the power supply.

TheLPA 28Vdc type M3is supplied with fixed electrical contacts and split control contact. This connector is mainly used on mobile ground power units (GPUs).

It accepts a variety of 3- or 5-wire composite cable types.

Other properties:

Square bung with removable plug to accommodate the control cable
Rear assemblies complete with screw clips, clamp plates, nuts and bolts
Front assemblies complete with power and control pins or tubes

Junction Sleeve LPA Plane Power PJS400

The PJS400 Junction Sleeve (400 Hz) is designed to connect composite cable to multicore cable. Configured to meet customer requirements, it is low maintenance and impact resistant.
